Hypercar Finance is the independent credit broker referenced throughout. We arrange Pagani finance through specialist commercial lenders at deal sizes typically £1.5 million and above. We are not Pagani Automobili, we are not Pagani London (the UK dealer); we are the broker between the buyer and the commercial lender panel.
Step one: identify the Pagani and confirm availability
Pagani Automobili, headquartered in San Cesario sul Panaro near Modena in Italy's Emilia-Romagna 'Motor Valley' and led by founder Horacio Pagani, produces the Utopia as its current model line. Allocation on the Utopia (around 130 cars planned globally, priced from approximately £2.2 million) sits with Pagani Automobili and is communicated through Pagani London (the UK dealer) and the international Pagani network.
The Huayra programme, now out of production after 13 years, comprised the original Huayra coupé (100 cars), Huayra Roadster (100 cars), Huayra BC (20 cars), Huayra BC Roadster (40 cars), Huayra Imola (5 cars), Huayra Codalunga (5 cars), Huayra Tricolore (3 cars), and Huayra R (30 track-only cars). Availability is exclusively secondary market through Pagani specialists.
The historic Zonda C12 (1999-2002), Zonda S, Zonda F, Zonda Cinque (5 cars), Zonda HH (one-off), Zonda Tricolore (3 cars), and Zonda Revolución (track-only) form one of the most actively-traded ultra-low-volume hypercar markets in the world.
Step two: choose the right finance product for the Pagani
Pagani finance is most commonly structured as one of three credit agreements: Hire Purchase, Lease Purchase, or Equity Release against a Pagani the buyer already owns. Personal Contract Purchase is rare at this deal size because no commercial lender will set a Guaranteed Minimum Future Value on a £2 million-plus low-volume hypercar.
Hire Purchase is the cleanest structure for principals who want certainty and an unencumbered position at the end of the term. Lease Purchase keeps monthly payments lower than Hire Purchase by deferring an agreed amount to a final balloon payment, and is the most common structure we arrange on Huayra variants and on the Utopia, because Pagani Automobili production is so limited that historical asset performance has been near-uniformly upward, supporting a high balloon at 36 to 48-month terms.
Equity Release is the most heavily used structure on Pagani: Zonda Cinque, Zonda Tricolore, Huayra Imola, Huayra BC, and Codalunga commissions have all materially appreciated since delivery, and Equity Release lets the owner release seven-figure liquidity without selling.
Step three: eligibility and credit broker selection for Pagani finance
Eligibility for Pagani finance requires the buyer to demonstrate the asset and income profile to support a £1.5 million-plus unregulated commercial credit agreement. Pagani Automobili has no captive finance product; there is no OEM finance arm to compete with the specialist commercial credit broker route.
The credit broker selection matters because the commercial lender panel that can fund Pagani deals is small and the lender needs Pagani-specific asset expertise. Pagani's hand-built atelier model and the carbon fibre / titanium construction give every car a near-individual specification that requires specific provenance documentation, and the appreciating-asset profile (every Pagani built since the original Zonda C12 in 1999 has appreciated above original list price within five years of delivery) shapes the balloon and the residual conversation.
Step four: the application and underwriting process
The application runs through us as credit broker. For new Utopia allocations, we pre-structure the finance side before allocation confirms because Pagani's build process is hand-finished over several months and the milestone payment schedule needs to align with the credit agreement.
For secondary-market Huayra and Zonda deals, the application includes specific provenance documentation: Pagani Automobili build sheet, full service history through the Pagani network, chassis numbering, and condition assessment. The commercial lender underwrites against the asset, the buyer, and the deal structure. Decisioning is typically a week to two weeks. Final terms are issued, the agreement is signed, and funds flow to Pagani Automobili (for new Utopia) or to the specialist or auction house (for secondary market).
Indicative monthly payments by Pagani model
Pagani Utopia at £2.2 million, 30 percent deposit (£660,000) over 36 months on Lease Purchase with a 60 percent balloon (£1.32 million) at 8.9 percent: around £16,800 per month. Pagani Huayra Roadster at £3 million secondary market, 35 percent deposit over 48 months on Hire Purchase: around £48,450 per month. Pagani Huayra BC at £4 million secondary market, 35 percent deposit on Lease Purchase over 36 months with a 65 percent balloon: around £19,300 per month. Pagani Huayra Imola at £5 million-plus secondary market, 40 percent deposit on Lease Purchase over 36 months with a 70 percent balloon: around £10,100 per month. Pagani Zonda Cinque at £6 million secondary market, 40 percent deposit on Lease Purchase over 36 months with a 65 percent balloon: around £19,400 per month.
Common mistakes when financing a Pagani
Three mistakes recur. The first is approaching Pagani finance through a mainstream broker; the deal size and asset uniqueness place every Pagani deal squarely in the specialist commercial finance segment. The second is underestimating the build-payment milestone alignment on a new Utopia allocation. Pagani Automobili's hand-finished build typically runs over six to twelve months with staged payments; the credit agreement structure must accommodate this.
The third is overlooking provenance documentation on a secondary-market Huayra or Zonda. Pagani's hand-built nature means every car has a unique build sheet with specific carbon and titanium specifications; the commercial lender's underwriting depends on this documentation and a deal without complete provenance may not complete, regardless of the buyer's position.
Frequently asked questions
Can you finance a Pagani?
Yes, where the buyer can demonstrate the asset and income profile to support a £1.5 million-plus unregulated commercial credit agreement. We arrange Pagani finance on Utopia allocations, on the run-out Huayra in all variants on the secondary market, and on historic Zonda commissions.
How much is the monthly payment on a Pagani?
At list price for an Utopia (~£2.2 million) on a 36-month Lease Purchase with 30 percent deposit, 60 percent balloon, and an 8.9 percent indicative rate, the monthly payment is approximately £16,800. The figure rises for Huayra and Zonda variants on the secondary market. Use our calculator for a live indicative quote.
Is Pagani a good investment?
Pagani is not a regulated investment product and we do not give investment advice. As a matter of historical record, every Pagani model built since the original Zonda C12 in 1999 has appreciated above original list price within five years of delivery, with limited-run variants (Zonda Cinque, Huayra BC, Imola, Codalunga) substantially outperforming on the collector market. Past performance is not a guarantee of future returns; an Equity Release agreement against a Pagani is a finance product, not an investment.
